About Me
Every individual is unique and has different needs, so I tailor my approach to suit you.
I am a fully qualified Counsellor and I trained in Sheffield. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework. I have an enhanced DBS certificate.
I was born and raised in Sheffield and have spent a large proportion of my career teaching children with special educational needs aged 10-16. Whilst retraining to be a counsellor, I volunteered for various charities including Victim Support, working with people who have been affected by crime, as well as a housing project, and then a recovery centre working with people dealing with alcohol and drug misuse, helping individuals to identify issues within their lives that are stopping them moving forward, helping them gain control of their life.
Sometimes in life we encounter difficulties and struggle to make sense of things, at times like these it can be helpful to talk to someone.
